Disney's MOANA Festive Light Up Event at the Art Science Museum

Just some pics from the festive light up event at the Art Science Museum with Disney's Moana yesterday evening. Auli'i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Osnat Shurer (Producer), Griselda Sastrawinata (Visual Developement Artist) and Roger Lee (Lighting Artist) were on hand to do the honours for the light up and help kick off the Holiday Season.

Before the light up the audience were treated to a lively and energetic Polynesian dance performance by Nonosina. The dance was specially choreographed by Tiana Nonosina Liufau (Disney's Moana Dance Choreographer) and it was performed to Te Vaka's "Logo Te Pate", a song which is featured in Moana.

Following the performance, the special guests were introduced on stage. After a rapturous countdown the four pushed the button and lighted up the Art Science Museum, bathing the building with a lovely display of stars. It felt great to be there. Watching the stars whilst the music from Moana was playing. I have a feeling I'm going to be humming "How Far I'll Go" for days.

Be sure to find your way to theatres from 24 November 2016 and catch Disney's Moana!

Thanks for viewing!
