Transformers G1 Soundwave and Ultra Magnus statues by Imaginarium Art Unveiled!

Exciting news for Transformers G1 fans! Imaginarium Art has just unveiled the statues of Soundwave and Ultra Magnus at a media event held at the Highlander Bar at Clarke Quay. I got to check out these fine statues first hand. Pics within!

Soundwave was sculpted by Jupiter and Pablo Viggiano. He stands at approximately 81cm tall. One of the main features of the statue is that it will come will some alternate parts so you can change its pose. Click this link for an illustration of the different poses. Soundwave comes with not one, not two but four cassettes! If you're wondering where's the fourth, Buzzsaw is in his chest. (not removable) It's still counted right? The other cassettes are Ravage, Rumble and Laserbeak.

Orders for Soundwave will be taken at the Singapore Toy Game and Comic Convention (STGCC) which will be held this weekend. There will be an exclusive version for the event and that will come with Ratbat! More details on the Imaginarium Art Facebook Page.

Next up is Ultra Magnus. Sculpted once again by Pablo Viggiano, the statue stands at approximately 71cm tall. It will also come with some extra parts so you can change its pose. Click this link to check that out and more. The product is not final so I wouldn't worry about the wheels on his forearms just yet. Ultra Magnus is scheduled for release in March 2017.

The statues look great. The sculpt is superb and there's awesome detail. The ability to change the pose is a big plus. I also love the metallic paint used, the panelling and the weathering they did. If I had the space and budget I'll seriously be tempted.

Both Soundwave and Ultra Magnus will be on display at STGCC. Check them out for yourself!
