Marvel Legends Infinite Series War Machine (Avengers: Age of Ultron)

Here's a look at the Marvel Legends War Machine based on his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

This figure was supposed to be released back in the Iron-Man Marvel Legends Iron Monger BAF series. On one hand I wished it was released back then, then we might have got a different character now. On the other hand it being released now let's us get the extra interchangeable head and we can relate to it more since he appeared in Age of Ultron. The figure is a repaint of the movie Iron Patriot. The figure has great detail and is pretty screen accurate. I don't like how thin it is though. The colours came out very well. I like the shiny black and gun metal grey. The white letterings and design were also very well done. He carries a shoulder cannon on his back. There are two slots where it can peg into. I prefer pegging in on his right and have the cannon appear on his left.

He comes with an interchangeable head with the front face plate of the helmet open. Within is an excellent sculpt of Don Cheadle. The look is spot on. The eyes could have been painted better though. He looks bored and disinterested.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, torso pivot, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees and ankle swivel and hinge. The shoulder armour are flexible and allow him to raise his arms up but not fully. The ankle joints can hardly be used due to the leg armour.

Comparison shots.

The figure is okay. My favourite is the one from Iron Man 2. I also use that with the comic based figure. Thanks for viewing!
