Marvel Legends Infinite Series Machine Man (Avenging Allies)

Here's the surprising figure of the wave, Machine Man. I didn't think Hasbro would release him.

Now I'm not familiar with Machine Man. I vaguely recall seeing him in an issue or two and that's about it. According to Wiki, he's the last of a series of experimental sentient robots. He was treated as a son by his creator, Dr Abel Stack and was given a human face. Dr Stack died while trying to protect him and he had to run from the military and those who wanted his technology. He would encounter several other Marvel characters and also fought along side the Avengers.

The figure is a repaint of the Bucky Captain America with a new head sculpt. The head sculpt is superb and looks accurate to how he appeared in the comics. His body is a metallic purple with some black wash on it. Aside from the belt which is a separate piece, the silver detail on his body was all painted on.

Accessories. He comes with a pair of extended hands. I would have liked if he came with extended feet as well. I can foresee trouble with standing but still it would have been nice to have. The extended arms fit loosely into his wrist sockets. The arms will hold its position when straight but will turn and face downwards when bent.

Yes the extended arms are bendable. Another great thing is that you can swap the hands. That is you can put the open hands on the extended arms and the fists on his normal arms.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrists, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

A comparison shot.

Machine Man is a nice addition. Thanks for viewing!
