SDCC 2014 Marvel Legends Thanos Imperative Gladiator

Next up from the Thanos Imperative set is Gladiator.

I first came to know of Gladiator from the 90s X-men cartoon. He's a very strong character who's able to easily defeat the likes of the Juggernaut. This is a great figure of him. He's on the Hyperion body and is nice and big as he should be. He's got a nice head sculpt. He's not one you want to mess with. I like his pointy ears. There's a small groove where his mohawk was stuck in. My figure has a what looks like glue running along it. The mohawk has good detail and has some blue shading on it. A thing about the head is that it sits high on the neck joint which makes his neck look long. The paint apps of his costume is good. The blue areas were painted with metallic paint which contrasts well against the red. It makes him less dull. The gold emblem and belt are solid and sharp. I would have liked if his belt had a buckle. I like that there's some black shading on the red areas of his costume and also on his cape.

Articulation. He's got a ball hinge neck, ball hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, double jointed elbows, swivel hinge wrist, ab crunch, waist rotation, ball hips, thigh swivel, double jointed knees, calf swivel and ankle hinge and pivot.

Comparison shots.

Great figure aside from the head not fitting on well. Thanks for viewing!
